Ccna Books Software Help
Hi forum!! Im interested in studying for the CCNA exam after i finish MCSA..
My question is; could anyone that has successfully completed this exam
tell me some good books / simulation software for practicing hooking up routers
and commands and that. I very green when it comes to routers that's what makes
CCNA so interesting . Oh don't have a really Big budget so if you know anything reasonable that would help .. Thanx for any replies........

For CCNA 640-607, the following books are popular among the candidates;
1. Cisco CCNA Certification Guide, Odom Wendell, Cisco Press
2. CCNA Exam Study Guide, Todd Lammle, Sybex Press
For the router sims, RouterSim from Cisco and NetSim from Boson are recommended.
For the practice tests, you may want to view the poll launched by me by clicking the following link.

Good luck for CCNA exam....

I used:
Book: CCNA Study Guide 3rd Ed Sybex By Todd Lammle and CCNA Exam Notes 3rd Ed Sybex
Software: Keystone Learning Systems CCNA 2.0
Simulators: RouterSim 3.2
Test Software: TechSkills TestPrep Software
Passed first time... using actual routers and switches help too ;-)

I think that the odom books are the best, you should also look into Esim by cisco press, a well placed investment.
