No need to get down on yourself so prematurely.
Keep in mind those articles have been written by people that may have performed the tasks 50 to 100 times already. Also, the authors may have insider information on the flow of various programs. The process of redesigning a WAN is very complicated, but when writing a paper one may not include the cost in terms of man-hours; and blood, sweat and tears for that matter.

To a great degree Kasor I feel as you. There are so many Novell tools and packages, and I think I know so little about them. Add to this that I don't do full-time Netware support at work, as I do desktop support, cabling, some telecom, administration at various levels, user documentation, etc., so I know a little about a lot of things. I just try to focus on how little I would know about Novell if I hadn't pursued CNE - at least now I have an understanding of the foundations and I am more comfortable with the NOS.
