Anyone Know where to find this in NT

I'm trying to find the menu that allows you to change what Apps are used to view certain files by default. Not the Open with menu where you can select the check box, but the actual menu that you can change the program for each file type. Any ideas? Thanks.

Not sure if NT was the same as 2000

Thanks fella's that worked. I was opening the wrong folder. At first it didn't give me the file type tab. Well I changed the app under edit but it still using the old app to open the file. I'll have to give her a reboot and see if it changes.. Thanks again.

Yup. The majority of the clients are currently NT4 workstation. We start upgrading them to Win2k next month. Almost all servers are upgraded to Win2k now, and that has gone very smoothly. Conservative corporate bank environment + major OS upgrade = lots of testing and Slow deployment.

I hear you about the, lots of testing and slow deployment.
I was working in a Japanese Corporate Bank 1999 thru 2000 and the testing that had to be done for W2K , they were still on SP3 and would allow even SP4 to gone on the PC's because they hadn't had time to test it, with all the other testing.

Unfortuately I found that SP4 solved one of the issues we had with a piece of software that was really needed, and they had to bend the rules to allow us to install it on a few select PC's.

but even after Y2K, it took ages to get SP4 on, hten we just jumped it up to SP6a. but hell it was a struggle to get anything done.
