Angry DNS troubles Still

When I do a nslookup on my server at home I get the following message

example.local
server: 127.0.0.1
address: 127.0.0.1#53
*** Can't find example.local: No answer
I've checked the logs and it's saying it's listening. What do I need to check to straighten this out?

Wish I could help but DNS is not my strong point to say the least. Maybe MrLinuxGuy will pop up.

Wink

Yeah,
It's a little frustrating! Needless to say it's not my strong point either.

I think I need to edit my resolv.conf. I think it may be missing info i.e. domainname.
I'll check it when I get home from work though.
