Arghhh!!!!! Was done before my tests were scheduled to start!!!
Had Core Exam scheduled for 9 and the OS scheduled for 10:30 this morn. Got
there 45mins early and finished before 9...heh.
One really dump head slapper mistake on Core, otherwise both scores would
have been around the same. Still tough to ace 'em all without some kind of
semantics error. Got 937 on Core, and 971 on OS. Thought it was pretty good,
till I saw what the top was. I still don't understand the point of the
adaptive. Like in a regular testing environment I would have like a 97
percentile, but in an adaptive environment, I have, what?, a C+?
Russ
A+ (heh)
PS. Got the Network+ Certification All-in-One open, and hitting the ground
running...

Good job dood :-)
Don't worry about the top score - I know it was hit once, but when I further
investigated the guy had 28 questions. I think the reason scores over 1100
are rare is due to Comptias policy of slipping in questions that do not
count towards your score.

Re: Arghhh!!!!! Was done before my tests were scheduled to start!!!
Thx all, for the support, and also to Mike Meyers for the great A+
All-in-One. I'm already half done with the Net+ book, and shouldn't have too
much trouble. Shooting for end of month. Pretty much know the practical
knowledge, but once I start memorizing all the misused jargon, I'm sure to
be confused.

Re: Arghhh!!!!! Was done before my tests were scheduled to start!!!
Its impossible to hit a 'top score'. That would require answering 30
questions correctly, which will not happen.
If you hit question 21, that means you were failing at that point. After
that, the questions would end once you had a passing score, and certainly
would never get you to a top score of 1300.
The '28' question guy damn neared failed.

Re: Arghhh!!!!! Was done before my tests were scheduled to start!!!
Hey ImhoTech - 1300 has been scored. I have seen a copy of the score report
as the administrator where I sat my exams has it framed there. Happened
about 2 months ago I seem to remember. The guys score for core was about
1118 too from memory.
