"Free" Practice Tests
Is it just me, but did you notice that all the sites that have "free" sample tests make the questions insanely difficult on purpose to make the tester feel like he/she needs more studying, and thus they pay for the "real" sample tests?
After all, why buy a testing package if you ACED the samples, right?
Every free (sample) test I have taken I have failed, yet every test I have taken from books and study guides (that I paid for) I pass with flying colors.
Do you guys agree? Just an observation...

depends which free tests you are talking about. the likes of cert21 is more difficult than the real thing, certify.com is pretty close, as is freecomptia and techexams.

I got 9 out of 10 right with the Examdrill practice questions.
I used to own the software, so I can tell you authoritatively that the free practice questions are exactly like the ones in the full version.

Yeah, but the "free sample" tests consist of the hardest questions in the bunch. Cert21's are the worst. They are pretty obscure sometimes, and even mentioning things not covered at all in my cram exam books, etc. Makes me nervous. I can't seem to get a grip on what the actual CompTIA test will be like...

I don't give a damn whether the questions are easy or hard. The only thing I can't put up with is a practice engine that is nothing more than a braindump-for-hire. I can personally attest to the fact that cert21 is exactly that. For my MS tests I use only Measureup.com. They are approved by MS.
