Attn: billyw from UK

As a responsible citizen, I obey speed limits and drive a fuel-efficient
subcompact automobile. However, in the US, many small-minded types buy
full-sized pickup trucks and SUV's to intimidate and tailgate their way
through traffic. In most cases, the cargo capacity of these vehicles is not
used. Moreover, in recent years, a growing number of women have joined the
"bigger makes me better" mentality. Finally, these people have no moral
compunctions about wasting excessive oil. They would rather send an
infantryman who for the most part, does not have the financial wherewithal
to finance a gas guzzler to fight a war, while they lead a selfish
lifestyle. I recommend raising the gas tax to price gasoline at a level
commensurate with the European level to reduce demand for these vehicles and
increase energy conservation. Does my proposal make sense to an impartial
observer. Most in the US will write it off as nonsensical BS.

If I didn't have an SUV, how would I pull my trailer with all my quads?

No. Because it effects far more than just the uncaring driver driving the
unutilized SUV.

If it looks like a duck, and acts like a duck....

It also effects the soccer mom that hauls her kids around in a
minivan. Most of them only get ~17mpg

My wife and I are looking for one also, we just bought our son a KX60
and we still need to haul around his XR50 so we end up taking 4
bikes.. Where do you go ride? We mostly ride out in the desert, red
mountain or lucerne.

We ride mostly up north. We'll ride down south when we visit family down
there. Thanksgivings we head out to Dumont. Good dune riding there. We
are heading for the Oregon dunes in April.
