LAN reilience
Hi folks,
currently got a core switched network in a triangular configuration and then
access switches coming off them.
The core switches are based on 4k series with one of them using a supIII for
routing.
The network is of a flat design so no serious vlans or routing setup yet
other than a management one.
All 4ks are etherchannelled together
What would the best methods for core failure resilience?
Can't afford a 4k dup in each comms room but a 6509 or another 4k could be a
possibility but only one mmmm.
Cheers
TJay

Are you looking for resilient network backbone or trying to protect
servers/end-users?
