Here is a summary of ODBC errors that I picked up.
80004005 ODBC Error Cheat sheet
[GNE = General Network Error]
(Not Found & No Default) = DSNC- Data Source Name not Configured Correctly
(Resources) = ODBC Driver - ODBC Driver not configured
(Login Failure) = Wrong Permissions - The user has insufficient permission to access the database
As apposed to:
(Logon Failed) = Password not mapped - The user password has not mapped correctly to access resources in the database
(General Network Error) = DB Moved - Due to heavy use, the database was recently moved to another server.
(GNE) (Network Document) = DB Moved - Due to heavy use, the database was recently moved to another server
(JET) = Wrong Permissions
Any comments or improvements?
