Transfer PC info to laptop
I am planning an extended job search back East. I am going to take a
laptop with me so to check email, maintain Quicken data, and email
lists.
Are there utilities that will allow me to transfer all my information,
i.e. passwords, ids, settings from my PC to my laptop?

Re: Transfer PC info to laptop
You could load your quicken on your laptop and off your desktop backup your
Qdata files and move them over to your laptop. asn far as your email just
setup your account on your laptop and use it to recieve and send your
messages.

Re: Transfer PC info to laptop
I was thinking about a little more than email accounts. I manage quite
a bit of other data - long distance, auto-pay accounts, that require
user ids and passwords.

Re: Transfer PC info to laptop
You could use "Aloha Bob's PC Relocator", about $50 at Best Buy or CompUSA.
Or you could transfer the stuff manually.
If you are using Windows XP I think that there is a free Microsoft
transfer wizzard.
