I sat Saturday...
and got 838/1000, man was I pissed when I walked out.
I never been a good at testing, but I felt pretty confident going in. I know the CLI basics and know how to setup rip, igrp, and ppp.
Subnetting was not a problem.
I know the OSI layers like the back of my hand.
There were a few questions because of the way they were worded that were confusing, but I thought I did well enough to pass.
I've never taken any cisco classes or had on the job experience.
I used the Exam Cram and Sybex 507 books.
also used the Sybex Lab router sim.
I just ordered the Cisco press CCNA 607 book so we'll see if Cisco's book helps.
This just motivates me to study harder and pass this BIIIAAAAAAAATCH!!!!!

Sorry that you missed it by such a small amount.
Do not give up, just brush up on what you consider your weak areas and you will nail it next time.
I had heard that the questions were very wordy. At least you know what to expect next time which is an advantage.
I'm sure you will pass it next time.

I feel your pain! I took the exam a couple of months ago and got 835/1000. I just knew I passed that test! However, after studying further, I figured-out one of the mistakes I made was not saving the configuration on one of the sims. Had I done that I am sure I would have passed the test. But I'm not a quitter and you don't sound like one either so keep on truckin'.

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys.
I was talking to someone who's cousin had failed the test twice and he said that the second time around the test was harder.
I hope this isn't the case!
