Passed the Test !!!
Passed it
I took the test yesterday & I got 988/1000 . the test had 60 Q. to be completed in 90 min ....i got two relatively easy sims.Generally the test was kind of not easy not tough.
Eventhough I was a silent member of this forum for a while,I just want to say thank you all,i got lots of info & good suggestions ...special thank goes to Sexy Lexy
about the stuffs I used in preparing for the test....I used Cisco's ICND book,I fully read it twice...I find it very much helping ...specially for test point of view ..I also used Todd Lammle's study guide, but only on reference basis...I mean to get more clarification on certain points.. & also I used RouterSim 2..it's kind of enough for test atleast ....& I used Test King's practice test ....wow I can tell u it's just typically the test itself...very much helping than Boson Practice Test.
To say something on the test....it contains much of routing protocols, couple of subnetting questions, many troubleshooting kind of ques. ,VLAN,Bridging & switching,a little bit of WAN.
About hands on practice I worked on three 2500 series routers & one 1900 series switch.I did all the configurations & the stuff.
I'll take a break for few days & start to prepare for MCSE
wish u all the best
if there is any thing I can do to help..any material to share ...I'm ready
Good Luck

There were many scenario type of questions...if I'm not mistaken they were not less than 15 ....some of them were just adressing the problem with words,& the others accompanied by diagrams...mostly they concentrate on LAN or WAN troubleshooting area....& they were not that much tough but little bit tricky,
About the simulation....I had two of them.
Both of them were on configuration of three routers. The first sim was to make only the neccesary change on one of the router after you find out the misconfig.(the question menssioned that all of the routers was configured at the beggining but they are not working) & the second sim was just to enable RIP on one of the router so that it can be connected with the other two.
I would be glad if I explain more details but I'm afraid I'll break Cisco's confidentiallity agreement.
I hope I answer your(Nistis) question.
regards

Congratulations zerocool911!
I do remember there used to be a question on configuring a passwd for the console access. Anyone got it?
