If I have a root CA and Subordinate CA's
Because Subordinate CA's function as root CA's in an orginisation then can you make another subordinate CA below First Subordinate CA?

moc216 p.504 makes numerous refrences to CA trust Hierarchy, but doesnt mention any restriction to one layer.

Very brief description...
Certificates and certification authorities

A little more in depth...
Best practices

All courtesy of technet.

I'm sure that there is a maximum depth that you would want to go, and it is recommended not to go very deep, but yes, you can have a hierarchy.
