| Its really great to see this forum. Just wanted to let people know that I am taking the ACHDS Wednesday at 1pm EST. I also had the fortune of my place of employment to fund me going to all the Apple software preperatory classes. I have been to the Help Desk classes, and the Technical Coordinator classes... which is OS X Server Essentials. I take the ACTC exam next wednesday as well. If any one has any questions I would be glad to help out any way I can. | |

| No results posted here, get them on here regardless of pass or fail...Everyone fails one every once in a while...Let us know how tough the exam was (or easy).
I am a MAC newbie, but really love them...I am a pc guru, but want the Apple experience...I have recently purchased the book for the hardware exam. Just need to buy a MAC on ebay to breakdown & put back together.

| Good Luck with the Mac. The hardware for the different models can vary because of the form factor, but they basically all work the same way. The different components are on a couple of circuit boards so a video problem means replacing a whole board, not just the flyback transformer, etc. I have yet to see the Mac technician books, but I assume they are pretty good. |
