AGP Pro is designed to deliver additional electrical power to the graphics add-in cards. It will accept AGP 1.0 and 2.0 cards depending on the connector used on the motherboard.

So then AGP pro slots are fully backwards compatible? That is, i can use the a non-agp pro card with an AGP pro slot. Asuming voltages are the same.

answer yes but you have to watch the Voltage think you can only use 1.5v in pro AGP slots not 3v

Yah, Mine takes 1.5 and .8

Lol, i didn't know there was a little plastic inssert thing that prevented you from inserting a non-Agp pro card into the wrong part of the slot.

Thankx for your help guys
