| This is my story how I got a NEW NEC SuperScript 870 Lazer printer for $50.00:
I was browsing at Circuit City for a new printer and I came across this Lazer printer that was open box (returned for some reason) and was normally $350 but sale priced for $50.00 - It had no manual, cables or nothing of the sort. Just the printer. I took it home, downloaded a driver and fired it up. It was jammed. I looked and found a piece of 8X10 paper wedged in the fuser. I cleaned it up, but it still didn't work properly. To my dismay, i noticed that it was still under warranty. I took it back to thew store and had them send it in for shipping. After about 2 months of bullsiht, NEC couldn't repair it so they authorized me to get a new one and the next model higer! Cool, Eh? | |

| I had a friend who picked up an old HP inkjet printer, someone was throwing out coz it didn't work. They asked me how to fix it, I told them to speak to HP, they did, HP turned round said it had a three year warranty and they would look at it. So he sent it off, he then got a letter saying it was uneconomical to repair and as it was under warranty they sent him a new one. | |
