I have sold my last CRT Monitor 2 Years ago, my trusty old P810 Viewsonics, they were nice, huge, but also darn Heaters.
In my Lab ( Two Car Garage, really) i had six of them, if they were all runnig, it really heated the place up quickly.
Besides, my Powerbill was outrageous.
I replaced them piece by piece first with Princeton 17" LCD's,then replaced those ( sold them all to Customers)with Sceptre Naga X9's. These are sweet Monitors with a true 19.1 Inch Diagonal Screen real estate.
How about you?
Still looking at that Monster of a Monitor, (actually better for Gaming than any LCD)or did you make the Switch to LCD?
I will leave multiple choices on the Poll, since some People have some 15", 17" and 19" LCD's or CRT's.

Man, it must be nice to be able to afford them. I still use a 14" CRT at the cottage, and all the moniters at home at 17" CRTs.

No LCDs yet! I have 3 17' CRTs at work (many more if needed), and 4 17' CRTs at home. At least they are "flat screen" CRTs!

Same here no LCD's yet. I have three NEC 97F 19 inch flat screens which I got just as the big LCD's were getting better with contrast. 1 Viewsonic 21 inch which I don't use often and three 15 inch Viewsonics. I really did not like the first LCD's and that stayed my hand opting instead to use KVM's to stop using the 15 inch monitors. With fairly new monitors, changing now is low on the list compared to other toys. It is hard to get rid of CRT's without losing money on the deal.

I have an old Dell 19" crt apparently its a sony very good monitor.

NEC 1830 18.1" lcd pretty good piccy only when used at higher res. at low res very blurry.

I also have Relisys 17" crt flatscreen jobby and its got quite a pleasing to look at.

I have had my lcd for quite some time now infact its my second I think I blew the first one up don't tell NEC that though. Teach me to plug monitor in when pc on

I'm sure lcds have got even better with picture quality and price.

2x17" Samsung SyncMaster 753DF at home

At work - various CRT and LCDs from 15" to 21"

With these CRTs at home my room is like an oven when I turn off the air conditioner. They must be replaced soon...

Got to be LCD, save a lot of space.

I have a 18" viewable Monitor.. too big, and I want LCD, but no one will but this old brick.

All at home:

I have two 19" CRTs that I use - one for gaming the other for spreadsheets.

Also have a 17" for normal Windows stuff and a 15" black and white old clunker I use just with a print server.

Finally I have a 17" Powerbook. My favorite.

Just realizing now why my electric bill is so high ......

I am currently using a 19" True Flat crt moniter. I also have 2 15" crt's active and one 17". One of my 15' crt's is the only thing left of my first computer I bought in 1996 when heading to college.
I got the 19" True Flat for $110 brand new.

It's a Dell. My sister bought a system and it had a free upgrade to the 19" but she didn't want a monitor since her old one was fine. The price of the system was $110 less without the monitor so I told her to get it and I would buy it from her.

I'm too much of a gamer so I dont use LCD...I prefer the higher refresh rate and resolutions of CRTs

Currently using a Viewsonic 17" CRT saving up for a 21"+

At work I just got a 20" Dell LCD Flat panel(Model AFP2000). It is nice. Right now I have my PC and my Mac hooked to it. It will also do vidoe input and digital camera. It has picture in picture. None of which I will use here. I like being able to switch between the two computers as I work on PC and Mac equally. I would love to be able to afford one at home.
