I use 3DMark 2003 these Days, been using the Marks from Madonion.com for some years now, but there is others...

Have used Madonion benchmarks before. Gives you a good idea what your system can do. Going to try one of the links. 3DMark looks interesting but it's a huge program to download.

To test the performance and the stability I always use a wide range of programs such as 3DMark 2001SE/2003, PCMark, Prime 95, SuperPi, Content Creation 2002, SiSoft Sandra 2002, etc...
