| I have an imaged cd with win2k/office 2000
but the main partition (NTFS/system) is only 2GB.
Anyone know how I can expand/resize this partition?
TIA | |

| Have you tried Partition Magic? | |

| I agree partition magic will do it just fine. Just make sure that you do a chkdsk with a scan on the partition first. Normally that will require a reboot. If there are errors then partition magic will fail. | |

| How about any freeware/shareware programs that would be as effective as Partition Magic.
The only thing that I've found was Partition resizer but it's not compat with NTFS.
Mmmmmm.....any ideas?
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it very much.

I thought version 1.3.4 solved that problem. If not I know of no other utility that will handle NTFS. Unless there are errors on the disk partition magic has always worked for me so I have tried no others.
The ultimate boot CD has the new version of partition resizer here http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/

| You could take a look here too. A Linux tool, but according to the site you don't need Linux installed to use. | |
