| Today I went for the 642-541 CSI (SAFE) exam.
I used ciscopress (Dubrawsky nr 2) and the april version of fravo exam prep questions for SAFE. I've also read the SMR and Enterprise whitepapers during weekend.
66 questions, passing score 825/1000.
I scored 867 which is the lowest score of all CCSP exams, however I thought I was thoroughly prepared (did not read ip telephony- and wlan whitepapers but used Dubrawsky's book for these).
My advice: print the SAFE enterprise-/SMR-/wlan- and ip telephony whitepapers and study these carefully. Don't waste your money on the ciscopress book.
The fravo test was focussing on SMR only, which is 25% coverage of what i got on the exam, so not worth it's money. I opted not to use testking.
Before, CSI focussed very heavily on SMR I was told.
This has changed now: it is more or less equally spread now. I got 2 simulations
and also many IDS questions (CSA Q's included)
While not utterly difficult this exam is certainly no giveaway, be well prepared! |
