| HI ALL,
Gurus of zSecurity and the Noviceys,
I just wanto confirm that I've the most appropriate material and timeline for my SECUR ( First) exam.
I'm using Cisco Press SECUR Student Guide.. and McGrawHill All in One to grasp an overview cover.
Caz doin tough job, only take out 2/3 hours a day, i hope the prep won't take more that 4-6 weeks.
My plans to study the book cover to cover first, then mature my ideas and test myslef to see where i lag. and then try toi streghten that area.
Hands-On.. No way.. two 2600 routers and one 2900 available. But very less time for practice.
Please some one advise, or tell me some realsitic approach of handling the Cert and Knwoledge professionally.

| Well moody,
Generally if you want to pass a Cisco exam on the first write, it will take more than a weeks worth of full time prep. I agree if you dedicate yourself to studying fulltime you should be able to prepare for this exam within 3-4 weeks. |
