| Well, you wouldn't be "skipping" CCNP. CCSP and CCNP are both professional certs at the same level, but different concentrations. It all depends on what your want to focus your career on; IP network security (CCSP) or IP network administration (CCNP). CCSP/CCNP are just two different branches in the same tree, with CCNA being the trunk.
I'm not to sure how CCIE would fit on that tree. Probably an entirely different tree...an oak tree, maybe....with golden leaves that produces gold acorns.
Now that I've made that lovely correlation, the choice for you is simple: Do you want to manage perimeter security, virtual private networks, and intrusion protection? Then CCSP is for you. If you want to install, configure, troubleshoot and administer local and wide area networks, then go for the CCNP.
....Or maybe you'd like to come down from that tree and climb that oak tree with the golden leaves and gather those gold acorns.... | |
