| Passed SAFE today! So... all I can tell all of you is review the SAFE documents from Cisco, make sure you review everything you learned from the past exams and you will do fine! | |

| I sit this exam tomorrow morning. It's my first in the series, and I've already studied CBAC, VMS, IPSec VPNs on PIX and IOS using pre-shared keys and CAs, and read/memorized the SMR. I've taken the boson PTs, read every braindump on the market, and read half of cisco's website (literally) in preparation for this thing. I can build IPSec VPNs in my sleep (except for when using MS CA using CEP cause I'm having some dufus errors), and I've learned all of the hardware (IDS, VPN, etc). What will be the most likely "GOTCHA"? | |
|
| The only Gotcha's that I noticed is READ EVERYTHING TWICE! It is very important to read the question, regardless of what it is twice, and give your best answer! If you know the material, you know the answers! | |

| I just passed the CSI exam yesterday, I crammed all I could into on the SMR the night before. Half of the exam was knowing which Key Devices were in which modules, and how each attack it mitigated at which level, etc. Know those cold and you are more than halfway there. | |

| Hi folks,
Does anybody knows the answer of this question?
When you block Java applets and ActiveX controls, which attack you are preventing?
. Brute force
. IP spoofing
. DoS
. Application layer
Boson says DoS. But I didn't found any reason for that.
Regards,
Rafa |
