A friend of mine had passed this exam last year and he said that there were CLI based questions not GUI . But i think if GUI comes it will be much more easier . When are you going to give this exam ? I am planning on 1st week of august .

I just passed this exam today!!

The exam is not bad and if you have worked with a concentrator/3002 and have a good foundation...youll pass np.

The sim was gui based and was pretty easy.

off to the IDS

Congratulations sean34 . Well actually i don't have vpn concentrator but i am using CCSP book , chinaitlabs and cisco e-learning connection labs . Do you think so that will be okay to pass the exam ? About boson i had heard they are good enough to pass the exam what do you suggest ? And what were the passing marks ?

haseeb_eng,

The resources you listed should be enough to get you through the exam with passing marks. I used the boson test and I thought it was right on track with the exam. I also used chinait labs and they were pretty helpful.

I took the 9E0-121 and passed by a question 790 is passing.

best of luck,

I only used boson #1 and thought it was a worth while exam resource. Not sure if this is the case with other boson tests but the author has a remote pod that u can use. I forget the details but u get a block of time, say 6 hours, to practice. I thought that was a nice

Iam not really sure when Ill tackle the IDS...I probably give it a shot in mid/late September
