IDS New version exam

| I might have asked this question before, but...
Did any one use the old IDS book for the new version exam? and was it useful?
I think the old version concentrated on the Director and PM which are not covered in the new exam.
I am relying on the material on cisco site, but i am not sure which versions to work on for the exam? 3.x or 4.0.
there are differences which sort of makes the material very bulky

| I tried using the old book and took the new test. Failed with 694. So it's not recommended. I did eventually pass after reading the material on Cisco's website. The test is mostly v3.0 | |

| Thanks Tim-Nan for your feedback.
I have studied version 3.0 although the web site doesn't specify which version . i currently work with 4.0 but didn't want to take any risks.
I still have to learn CSPM since i never used this product before.
test scheduled for Monday.. will let you know how it goes.
