I've passed all of the CSS-1 tests and the SAFE test seems to be very similar to MCNS. Anyone taken this one that could give any insite on it?

I guess I don't even get why they added this test to make it a new cert.

well it's not very suprizing that they'd push safe. it's written by them, good publicity and they are giving themselves
credibility for the security model
that started as a white-paper
it's defense-in-depth the cisco way .......

haseeb_eng,

I can't really comment on the new format of the VPN test. I took it about 7 months ago when it was the old format. I wouldn't expect that it would be much different though. Maybe others would be able too give you better insite.

Darth,

So if I understand what you're saying. SAFE is Cisco's implementation and interpretation of Network Security; ie, the "Security Wheel", etc...?
