| Hi there, new to the forums so bear with me
I'm just looking at getting myself certified with my end objective being that I've got MCSE 2003 Security AND MCSE 2003 Messaging qualifications.
However I've heard that if I were to take an MCSA 2003 Security and Messaging, that I could use that directly, take 1 or 2 more exams and get my MCSE in both field using the existing MCSA as a base.
After hearing this and liking the sound of it, what's my best option for certification? If I can get both the MCSA 2003 and MCSE 2003 then I'd like to do that, with both the Messaging and Security specialisations, however, if I took the MCSA would I have to 'start again' for the MCSE (take all my MCSA exams again) or can I use my MCSA exams in getting the MCSE?
I apologise in advance if this sounds confusing but I'm really puzzled by all the tracks for certification, I've looked at them and they all look as if I could simply take a core set of exams for the MCSA perhaps, do the specialisations and could then use that as a base for MCSE as well.
Thanking you all in advance for your time and patience
