How can I create setup boot disks for Windows Server 2003?
I want to boot from floppy disk to install Windows Server 2003. because I can't boot from CD.
I know that we can create setup boot disk for Win XP and Win 2000...
Is it possible for creating these disks for Windows Server 2003?

I need to create "Setup boot disks" for windows 2003 server not "Startup Boot disk".. I want to boot through using these disks for isntalling Windeows server 2003...
We can create
4 "Setup boot disks" for Windows 2000 server
and
6 "Setup boot disks" for Windows XP
I searched google but found nothing | |

| Can you boot to a command prompt and change directories to your CD-ROM drive and the browse to the I386 directory and run winnt or winnt32 commands depending on installed OS?

how I can boot to a command prompt? using "Windows ME startup" floppy disk?
but this disk does not allow us to boot to win32 environment!!!!

| There is no such thing as the 3 boot disks to install Windows 2003. These were available in Windows NT 4.0 server. They were phased out by the time you got to Windows XP and Server 2003.
The best options I can think of, if you have a CD drive that you can not boot is.
Option 1
Format the hard drive with FAT/FAT32.
Use a DOS boot disk that has CD drivers in the autoexec etc
Copy the i386 directory from the CD and run winnt.exe to start the install
Option 2
Create a bootdisk that has network drivers on it and map to a network share where you have it installed.
Run WINNT.exe from the network share.
Either of these two options you should easily find examples of how to create on the internet. | |
