| Hi there
Well, we generally know all or some thing about Foldr redirection group policy.
but I have one problem
when deploying Folder redirection, in my AD, users still can save files in the local machine by browsing to another location, e.g. C:\ in there computers.
is there any policy or trick can be done to prevent any user from saving any files out of My Documents or Desktop, or I am missing some thing here?
Any help is highly appreciated, thank you. | |

| adam i haven't seen any policy on that. You just need to tell the users that if their system crashes then they loose their docs. | |

| If the company you work for has a TAM with M$ then you can have them see about creating a DCR or you could probably send an email to mswishlist. | |

| Isn't there a way to hide a drive from the users? Crikey, I can't remember where I saw that tip.
A mischievous method is to change the default letter from C: to whatever and the drive where you want them to save to the letter C:. |
