Move Security Template in GPO

| Dear Members,
I'm trying to import several security templates I created to import them in a GPO so afterwards I can link this to some OU's.
I cant find how to do this. The only way to import them in my AD is to rightclick the template.inf and select install. But then all settings will be in the default domain.
Or are the security templates only relevant on Domain level ?
Second is there a way to compare the security templates againts the AD ?
If I do this with the Security Configuration and analysis tool I'm not sure if this is analyzed against domain level.
Thanks in advance.

| Security Configuration and analysis will compare the current computer configuration not matter where it pulls the policy from.
If you don't want policy on your domain level, simply create a new GPO at the level where you want it. | |

| I have finaly found what I was looking for.
You open the GPMC then click edit to ghe GPO then you go to security settings and if you rightclick on there you can choose import policy.
Cheers,
