| Cmon you didnt think I FAILED again did you?
WELL I DID.... NOT!
It was intense, all odds against me, a huge headache despite getting wonderful sleep and eating a good breakfast. I drove 1 hour to the destination. I walked in and proceeded to lay a royal beat down on 70-296. When the smoke cleared it was ME who emerged victorious. Now I join a group just under 1500 people who have the MCSE 2003.
How I feel? Like the world has been lifted off my shoulders. 2003 was such a horrible year for me. I had to battle many difficulties from my car accident to my grandfather being hospitalized. So many things happening its hard not to get down, but if you let it get to you then you have lost the battle. Today is a great day for me, the drive back home was incredible it seemed like the sun was shining on me the whole way back. WoW.
Id like to take a quick second and dedicate my MCSE 2003 to my grandfather, my father and our family friend John for believing in me and doing everything possible to help me succeed. Id like to thank God (and I really DO MEAN IT) for giving me the wisdom to understand all this stuff. Ask and ye shall receive.
Well as I said its time to party like I havent in a long long time. 2003 - The year of progression - has passed. 2004 - The year of prosperity is coming fast.
And despite, I kept true to my word, all tests wrapped up in 2003. If any test I take it will be in August 2004 when I test for 2nd degree black belt. Ahhh but proper training is required :-D
Thanks to the folks on cert21 who despite all the controversial bullshit still can leave me a message of motivation.
*insert breath here*
Have a great new year guys!

| Way to go. What did you find to be the most difficult aspect of the exam?
I took a break for myself in 03 and just did one test for fun, the Security+ beta.
I'm now aiming for the "Holy Grail of Cisco certs".
BTW
Which style are you training in for your 2nd degree black belt?
I'm a second in Taekwando and also in Hapkido. | |

| Cool
I had back surgury a few years back and had to limit the Martial Arts training quite a bit. I'd like to get back into the hapkido again though, I'd have to be very careful, no breakfalls etc.
The discipline and self knowledge I have gained have been invaluable though, and has been qa great help in my IT training and Certification. |
