According to VeriTest, Server 2K3 is 66-to-95% faster than RedHat Linux AS 2.1/8.0 Professional in file serving.

I seen this article already and a guy from the samba team did some test and it is true. He said that Microsoft tweaked 2k3 that's why it is faster.

MS usually tweak in sunch a way that it is faster for a benchmark.

I have yet to see a superior MS product. All so far are superiorly marketted products. Will 2003 change it?

Lets wait and see.

i know a linux guy who make their personal test and yes, 2003 is extremely more fastest. no cheat, no tweak.
