Does anyone know how to explicitly control a user's resolution settings to a certain setting in a GPO? I know you can extensivley configure a desktop's settings, but I saw no setting for that. This is for an app that needs 800X600, but some users like 640X480. I know it's weird, and kind of George Orwell, but it is needed . Any ideas or experience???

You cannot explicitly set a GPO to set screen resolution. Screen resolution is set through profiles on the systems themselves.

The best you can do is disable access to the Display Properties. This can be done through GP.
