Damn, if anything killed me it was the multiple choice GPO bs drag and drop...
I didnt do too bad, at least i know what I need to study up on tonight thanks to the bars. No worries, tomorrow, its my last attempt to get MCSE 2003 before the new year.

Gotta love IT tests. By the way, Im not saying this because I failed but I honestly think the new prometric format blows the winds on boats if you know what I mean.
Annoying. And the damn thing kept crashing in the middle of the exam. Go figure.

No worries, tomorrow I shall win. Gotta take a 40 minute drive though

You will see a different and hopefully slightly easier pool of q's to carry you over the pass mark. Good luck and don't sweat it too much.

Failed... probably by one question. When I saw my results and the bars I nearly flipped.
As many as I had correct vs as many as I didnt get I do not see why I did not pass the exam. I am overly pissed. Retaking on the 31st. Still determined to get it done before the end of the year. If I cant enjoy my Christmas, Ill enjoy my new years.

It is that old adage, something about getting back on the horse. Sorry to hear it bit you a second time. If anyone thinks these W2003 exams are as easy as the certification exams for previous Windows versions, they obviously have not taken any of them.

What I hate is the time wasted waiting for questions to appear, or having to scroll all the way down and all the way to the right on each window in a question. When you are rushing to get through the exam in the available time and face these "time stealing issues" it becomes frustrating.

Good luck in your 12/31 attempt.

Steve

The scrolling majorly aggrivates me. Especially when you have scrolled down and it says you haven't scrolled left or right!
Why should I?! I can read the question just fine. I don't like the new format as I stated before.

Yes 70-296 is a hard exam. It was "intended" to be. 70-292 I feel was more straight forward. I think Microsoft went back to their old 70-216 "make everyone fail it once" format for 70-296. I do not see with so much success on the exam why I should not have my cert, and without an actual score its hard to be accurate. Almost every Microsoft exam I have failed I have failed by 1 question. Its sort of stupid having to pay another $125 because I came short. I have reviewed the concepts even harder. However, as I said, the 31st will be a joyest day when I finally close the door of test taking. I have already done the math of how much it cost me, believe me, you wont believe the numbers, but no one can put a price on knowledge, because its something no one can take away.

What I do for the multi-frame questions that beg to be scrolled is to grab the frame bars and stretch them in all directions as soon as the question appears, this eliminates all but a few scroll prompts.
