| i'm running windows 2003 server (DNS, DHCP, AD..), and exchange 2003 (IIS...)... everything works well like sending e-mail within the domain and to the outside wold (i mean to hotmail or yahoo...)but the only problem is replying to those e-mails, i can't get them.... they told me that IIS uses port 25 too, basicly, and RoadRunner blocks port 25... so how can i change port 25 to different one????
help please
thanks | |

| I'm a bit confused why you need to reroute port 25. Sending email uses SMTP (TCP port 25) while receiving email uses either POP3 (TCP port 110) or IMAP4 (TCP port 143).
Make sure that you are using the correct protocol and port number and that they aren't blocked if using filtering/firewall solutions.
Cheers,

| Can you confirm that you've setup exchange on a Roadrunner connection and they are blocking incoming port 25? Another words, the exchange server can forward outbound mail but cannot receive any? | |

| TB your PM box is full, can't reply. Make sure to delete Sent Items as well. That bit me once. | |
