Not much activity on this forum, but having taken this exam last I thought I'd put up a few notes for anyone interested.
For a relatively new exam I was surprised it was so traditional - 50 questions in 120 minutes, all multiple choice - maybe 2 checkbox type, otherwise all radio-button.
I took the exam because I thought security would be a good thing to know as bit about, and I quite enjoyed the new ground covered - for me that was wireless, SUS, ISA server, ... I was really disappointed with the exam though - it was overwhelmingly about group policy, security templates and auditing. And who is it group policy applies to? Yes, that's right - only to people that choose to allow it to apply to them. So not really very secure then.
I'd hoped for more of a balance between this and security against attack - I reckon I'd been tested enough on group policy on other tests.
Never mind - its another step towards MCSE, only one more to go now.
