| Lucky. AND Congrats.
I took Sec+ last week and failed, thought not by much. I made a 732. I didn't feel confident in my prep, but I scheduled the exam to get done and move onto something else. Overall, I'd say it appears to be a good exam though. I just need to study some more, and try it again in a couple weeks. | |

| Wow sounds like me (failed with a 732 and took the test 3 days later and passed with a 788). I am glad to have gone through the test though, because it gets me out of class in which all we did was breifly scratch the Linux+ and the Security+ tests. It also doesn't leave me dangling there half way through the quarter trying to figure out what all this PKI mumbo jumbo is. | |

| Passed it today on my second try with a 772 - a barely pass. This is a tough exam. Ultimately the challenge makes it a worthwhile certification though. I thought most of the questions were well written, and wasn't really confused on 99% of the questions. I used Exam Cram and passport books to self-study, with some work experience thrown in for good measure. I probably could have really used a third "heavier" text for study. I also took every practice exam I could find. | |
