| To whoever had the time to actually read this:
This exam is a complete waste of my 4 weeks prep time. When i first when into the exam i thought it was gona be all hard which was a complete lie. With couple of year in system admin, and security, this was a cake walk. I finished the test with in 25 mins of my time and said oh fsck it. Anyways what i studied off of Learn key security+ 3 cds, CBT nuggets 2 cds, read 3 books, security+ by microsoft, sygnress, and sybex. I recommand instead of buying all those books, get the tcat pdf and print that. If you cannot find the tcat pdf on the www then you should not be reading this at all... | |

| Thank you for that enlightening post. With your experience in network security you should have gone for the CISSP certification. CompTIA is geared towards those who need a stepping stone into that particular category.

| Well cissp gona be a challenge, for the security+ candidates this exam is easy, and made for beginning information security ppls. The exam is not wordy or hard. Its just giving 220 bucks to comptia, almost like selling your soul ^_^. I recommand go to certifyforless for $165 usd coupon instead. Good luck u all |
