A buddy of mine loaned me his Exam Cram2 book. Has anyone else used this book to study? Is it a good book to use?

I would ask my friend, however, he has opted not to go for the test as of this date after buying the book (about a month ago). So, I have it right now.

Has no one out there read it?

I use the exam cram2 book in conjunction with at least 1, most times 2 other books. They have helped me everytime. If you have a lot of knowledge in the area of the test then it might be all you need, if not then get yourself at least one other source.

EC2 is good but no book hits the exam square on (Tcat comes the closest). EC2 works well when used in conjunction with a few other references.

Okay thanks! I'll read through this (EC2)then see about getting something else.

First of all; am trying to pass Network+ and then will either go after this test S+ or CCNA, haven't decided yet.

With this free book, that may persuade my decision. Then again, I can get the study books sometimes for less than $20.00 on amazon.com

ExamCram is a good line of books. I'm using it to study too.

Yes, I'm scanned through the S+ books EC2 and liked it; soo went out and got the books for Network+ as well. No chance to study S+ yet, but have found it really useful in Net+. What I really like about them is the practice questions book that accompanies the parent book. I took the practice test and they show me were my weakness is and then I can look those weak spots up in the parent book and study them. What's really cool is the practice book points right too the parent book so you don't have to fumble around trying to find the info that you need to study. Gone are the days (in this book) of reading a bunch of stuff you already know just to get to what you already know. AND for me, who only has about 2 hours a day to study (thanks to current job) that really helps out a lot.
