Does anyone know if you can use the Security+ exam to achieve MCP status while using it towards an MCSA:Security certification?

Thanks in advance,
Adam

Nope - it is just an option for MCSA +Sec.

MCP = Microsoft Certified Professional - they won't let you be that until you have passed one of their exams.

It's an elective for both an MCSA and MCSE
