| In my second try on this exam, I passed by a very comfortable margin. I could go in to what I thought of the questions, but I have already vented on that. I used the Syngress book and also the Sybex book. I felt both books were good, the dvd with the Syngress book was not very useful. I started on a security project at work which also helped some. The exam covers a broad range of topics, so I would suggest that you feel comfortable with all of them before exam time. Now it is time to chill for awhile. | |

| cool.. congrat... i am thinking of sitting it next week too... do you think there's much info missing on the Syngress book?? Any other area i should more focus on??

| I thought it was a decent book, I did go over the cryptography, and the PKI section multiple times, I felt I might have been a little light on those areas on my first attempt. Even in the Sybex book I reviewed those sections till I was good with them.

| Not sure what is next, I will be looking at some other security certs, but as always with Microsoft I must keep current with them.
The weather is getting nicer, and business has been slow, so I have plenty of time to think about it. |
