Hi all,

I been studying for this for 1-2 months now. I have read all books and training materials from Syngress, MS Press, Elemnet K, NBT Nuggets, Mike Meyers etc... I have also done all Boson, Preplogic, beta BQF etc.

What i want to know is... Is there anything else that i should read before sitting exam?? (thinking of sitting this next Friday). I really don't want to waste my money but have really no confidence with so many people failing.

For those that has done this exam before... can u tell me what area are weak in all these books that i should focus more on?? I am getting really sick of reading books now cause they pretty much all talk bout the same thing and i am not really learning anything new anymore. that's why i can't be bother reading the Sybex and TCAT's book...

just FYI i do work with firewall, IDS, routers , web and mail content filtering software etc and have done server harderning etc before.. i have also read a few hacking exposed books and play with a few hacking tools before.. i am not a totally newbie in this but just don't feel confidence going straight to the exam yet....

Hi!

It sounds as if you are in the same boat as myself. I have a read a study guide and done a fair few questions. One of the highest hurdles getting over in the exam is understanding the way in which Comptia have worded the questions.

I am thinking of taking mine next Thursday or Friday...hopefully!
