That 48 pages is certainly worth killing a few trees! Great find! Excellent work!

Thanks for the link.
Do you know if anyone has tried the testking prep for this exam?

Personally, my answer is no, sorry. And I will offer this thought. Security+ is not CISSP. And it isn't a 'laydown' either. Study several sources, or risk being a few hundred bucks lighter...

A number of folks passed the beta on the free PDF Helen and I did, which is at http://www.alphageekproductions.com

We also have it out in print form and a finished PDF. I know of one person who didn't know about that work and said they (barely) passed using the Syngress work and a common thought is don't even load the Video DVD in the back.

MS Press is out, but no comments heard yet. If it is like the MS MOC for Security+, save the trees and your money. (Quick Tip: If you look at it, look for Mandatory Access Control in the Index. If its there, keep looing, if not put it down.) The MOC doesn't mention MAC. And the MOC makes no claim to cover the test completely or fairly. It is all about MS stuff.

I finished the audio which is posted an will be up during the month of Febuary.

Ask for details if your interested. It's free, and it can stand alone. And as submininal audio, it is not meant to be the sole study source.

On the other hand you may wish to check it out at a book store. The Network Essential from MS Press in the late '90's rocked.

Well thank you for the kind words about our study guide. We hear that a lot about all of our Study Guides. Thats what we are going for. Ad-free, no registering, no braindump material. Just Free Comprehensive Study Guides

I should introduce myself...I'm the admin/webmaster/geek of all things on www.certificationsuccess.com

Anybody test it yet to see if it has all the info inside the guide that you need to pass the exam?

Hey Tcat

Great study guide :-)
I have to agree about that Syngress one too - I am reading it now and it appears that they are focusing on different areas (or their interpretation of) what is required.
I have got 85%+ on the questions in the book and when I went to the Syngress site for the on-line questions I barely got 50%, with the questions being very weird.
The DVD was a total joke when you compare it against the Learnkey offering (true it isnt a full course DVD, but really glosses over too much).
