Has anyone here ever taken the SCNP exams? I'm looking for recommendations on a study guide.

Thanks

Aside from Their offical courseware I don't know of any studyguides.

"The exams, as a whole, are designed to validate the foundational skills required
by security professionals. These skills include, but are not limited to: Intrusion Detection Systems Design and Implementation, Network Traffic Signatures,
Security Policy, Risk Analysis, Firewall Design and
Implementation. Router Security, Operating System
Security, Advanced Knowledge of the TCP suite,
and Network Security Basics."

You could probably use a studyguide for a different cert that has similar topics and get away with it.

the two exams for the scnp were quite difficult. Even the official courseware did not cover all the questions in the exam.
