| Well, got past it today with 820.
Many thanks to Supertech for telling me that international vouchers (i.e. ones that work outside the US) are available... I paid full retail for the network+, so it was a relief not to do so on this one as the comptia exams are not cheap compared to Cisco or Microsoft!
Anyway, my study materials were:
1) Tcats full pdf (hey, if you are going to spend that much on the exam, you may as well get some decent study materials, so dont just get the beta)
2) Sybex Security+, they always seem to be a good place to start, and I have found the test exams on the cd to be very helpful.
3) ExamCram2, bought mainly for the voucher (which I later found out only works in US and Canada), but then I had a read through it, and as prepartion for the exam it was not at all bad.
4) Hacking exposed. Read mainly out of interest, but is relevant
5) Anti Hacker Toolkit. Same comments as 4)
My personal opinion is that it is worth getting at least two study guides to increase coverage of material (I would exclude Hacking Exposed and Anti Hacker Toolkit as they are not Security+ specific).
Thanks to everyone else who posts here, I have found it really helpful.
Good luck! | |

| Congrats! I mainly used the Sybex book but I also agree that the Hacking Exposed book is a great source as well! |
