Author hacking books recommandations

I am truely a newbie about hacking and dont know any thing about it, Can anyone recommand some books that can teach me how to hack step by step, really basic and easy to understand. Thanks!

Get on amazon.com and search for books that have subject keywords like security and hacking. Make a list of the ones that seem interesting to you and take a trip to the largest bookstore in your area. Borders and B&N are good, as are the bookstores of universities that have very good computer science programs. Thumb through all the books on your list that you can find, and decide which ones are step by step, really basic and easy to understand.

May have to check that Hack Notes out. Looks like a nice 200 page reference to me.
