Do you need to have access to a PC with windows 2K server to study for this?
According to my MCSE training kit, you do, but I'm hoping there's a work
around as there's no way I could afford that OS, and have windows XP
already.

| You might consider getting the
"SYBEX MCSE 2000 CORE REQUIREMENTS VIRTUAL LAB"
While having the real deal is the best way to learn this Virtual Lab
does allow you to very many of the main day to day Win2000 procedures
such as user setup, install and others. It looks pretty realistic...
Have seen it fairly cheap on Ebay.
Just saw one on Half.Com for $18.
Heres one now on EBAY
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...&category=11449
Sybex has many such "VIRTUAL LAB" or "E-TRAINER" packages.
None are perfect but are good practice compared to just a book.....
Search under those key words.
Also seen several Win2000 server CD's for sale on Ebay. These may be
unlicensed (no users) or time limited demos but for your purpose that
would still be OK.
Hope that is useful
Thank Ya' Very Much
