Author MCSE/MCSA costs tax deductable????

Anyone write off as unreimbursed education expense the cost of
attaining their MCSA or MCSE....

As I read the tax instructions looks like it is possible......

I too need to find out this info as a future MCSE. With money spend on
books and materials, etc..., I would be very intersted in this answer.

It was legal in 1999. Don't think it has changed since then.

In 1999 you could deduct training expenses as long as it was relevant
to your current occupation. For example, if you were a PC support
tech then you could deduct the MCSE expenses. But if you were
delivering pizza for a living then the MCSE was not deductible because
the training prepared you for a whole different occupation.

yeah its tax deductable. its a continuing education. so yes you can.
i am planning on deducting the 7 tests i did last year, and the 5
books that i bought.
