WIN2K DNS Server issue
|

| Hello,
I am setting up a win2k server for DNS on a NT4 Domain. The domain currently
has WINS, and I have set up the DNS to download information from the WINS,
as it is not going to be phased out for quite some time, and the DNS server
is just for equipment that is not capable of WINS. My problems is that on
this domain we have probably 35-40 different subnets, and the DNS is only
picking up the subnet that it's IP is on. I need it to do resolution for the
other Subnets also. Is there something special I have to do to accomplish
this? This is my first setup of DNS, so it's very possible I have done
something wrong. I would appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks,
Keith

| Relay agent on each sub_net is a good idea.

| Cacheing server on each subnet pointed to the main DNS. Or Secondary
zone on each subnet...possibly. Good luck!
p.s.
If you resolve the issue, please post results. Thx:->
