can anyone help me?

| g'day
i was wondering if anyone here can help me with creating backup dc's?
i know BDC's is a concept that was introduced in NT 4.0.. i'm just curious
to know if i can do something similar with windows 2000?
say, i have two dc's.. one primary and another one is for backup - in case
the primary is down.
i would like to know what happens when a parent DC is down? does the backup
DC kicks in by itself?
it would be a great help if someone can provide me information/how-to
articles on this matter?
thanks in advance

| There are no primary and secondary in W2K+ servers. There are FSMO roles one
of them is a PDC emulator. But as far as DC's go in W2K they are all peers.
